Abstract:
This research which is entitled: (Congregational and Precedent prayer in Islamic Doctrine), is presented in the pursue of a master’s degree of Islamic Doctrine and Legalization in the faculty of High Education. It is supervised by Dr.Wahdan Abduallah Abu Wahdan, and it consists of an introduction and five chapters. Each chapter is divided into searches, requests and questionings. The first chapter illustrated a full definition of the congregational prayer, and it has 4 researches, as each one has many requirements. The first chapter included the definition of congregational prayer, its rule and benefit, as well as the rule of repeating it at the same mosque. The second chapter included describing the way of the prayer performance, what hold it, and the place in which the Imam should stand, if it had one Imam. Also, it addressed the intention of the Imam and Al-Ma’mom in the congregation, and their conditions. In the third chapter, the rule of reading behind Al-Imam in secret or out loud, like (AlFateha and other Sowar from AlQuraan) was discussed. In the fourth chapter, the reassurance in the prayer was discussed for the rightness of the prayer. The second chapter talked about the cases of AlMa’mom prayer in congregation and their rules. They are three cases, one is when the prayer (the one who performs the praying) is with the prayers, or after them, or preceding them. Each one of these cases has its own rules, which are discussed in separate researchers in this chapter. In the third chapter, I addressed the main topic of this research, which is the precedent in the congregational prayer. In the first chapter, I researched the cases of the precedent follow of Al-Imam in his different postures (bowing kneeling, sitting, and ending the prayer). In the second chapter, I talked about the times of which the precedent performs the missing prayer. In the third chapter, I talked about Sojod AlSaho (the bowing after being distracted), that is by explaining the issues related to this topic. They are: AlImam bowing (Sojod AlSaho) before and after ASalam (Saying the peace after finishing the prayer). The effect of following AlImam by the precedent before and after being distracted, and the rule on the precedent repetition of Sojod AlSaho if he bowed with AlImam, in addition to the rule on the distraction of the precedent while praying what he missed, as well as the effect on the precedent following of AlImam while bowing Sojod AlSaho. In the fourth chapter, I talked about the precedent following of AlImam in the obligatory prayer. This chapter has five chapters; each one includes the conditions of the precedent following in one of the obligatory prayers starting from AlFajer to AlEshaa’. Also, in this chapter I addressed the rule of following AlImam in the congregation, whether in the late or early one, as well as the congregation between AlDohor and AlAser prayer, or AlMaghreb and Al Eshaa’. In addition, I searched the cases of the precedent following of AlImam in AlSuna for one of the obligatory prayer, in the case of not performing the obligatory one. Moreover, I addressed the rule of the precedent follow of AlEshaa’ prayer in AlTaraweh or AlWeter. In the fifth chapter, I addressed three issues, the first: The precedent follow of AlImam in the non-obligatory prayers, like following the Imam who prays ( AlTaraweh, AlWeter, the esclipse prayer, and AlJanaza (the prayer on the dead). As each prayer has its own requirement, which includes different cases related to that prayer. The second issue is the precedent follow in the right or the opposite way. The third issue is the difference in the intention between the follower and the Imam. In that I talked about AlMoftared ( the obligatory prayer) behind AlMotnafel, ( the follow of (AlMoftared) the one who does the obligatory prayer of AlMotnafel). Also, the prayer of AlMotnafel behind AlMoftared, and the follow of AlMoftared of the Imam who prays an obligatory prayer that is different from AlMoqtade prayer. This research was ended with a conclusion and a number of results and recommendations. The most important are: 1. The audience of AlFoqaha said that: if the precedent arrived and followed AlImam in a part of the bowing, it means he has performed this kneel. 2. What the precedent gets from ALImam is the beginning of his prayer, and what he performs after ASalam, is its end. 3. The audience agreed that what is followed from ALImam in the second kneel from AlJomaa prayer, means he has performed this prayer and he completes it as AlJomaaa prayer. However, if he did not follow the second kneel, it means he completed the prayer as ADohor prayer. I recommended a number of things, the most important are: 1. I recommend people who are involved in the religious issues to search about the precedent rule in the case of congregation, whether in it early or late congregation, as I have not found the sufficient talk about this issue. 2. I also recommend in searching about the conflicted issue of the follower and AlImam intentions.
