Abstract:
This study aims mainly to examine the role and impact of electronic warfare in the Arab-Israeli conflict. After the attacks on the Israeli cyberspace by groups arab and islamic youth, and foreign pro-Palestine groups; cyberspace has become a new arena in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and a new area of fighting between the two sides, like land, sea and air.
To study the impact of this "war" on the Israeli arena; the researcher has developed a fundamental question, it is: " What is the role and impact of electronic warfare in the Arab-Israeli conflict? ". As well as number of sub-questions for the subject of the study. The starting point of the premise is that: " For many electronic effects of war on the Israeli scene ", as well sub-hypotheses concerning the content of this study. Using descriptive analytical approach as an essential method for this study; researcher divided this study into six chapters, in addition to the study plan, the conclusion, its findings and finally the recommendations.
The researcher focuses in the first chapter of this study on the development of the means of conflicts between humans throughout history. The study starts the analysis from the first human ages, which was mainly driven by acquiring the control over basic materials such as; wood, iron, and minerals, and ending to the age of the technology revolution and globalization. Through the latter, Tended to control human "need human modern" to control means of communications, information technology semi-integrated, which caused a huge controversy regarding the relationship between security of electronic information and national security.
The second chapter of this study, the addresses the underlying relationship between security of electronic information and national security. Concerning this point, the fact that nations put their national savings across their own cyberspace, which resulted in the huge controversy on the issue of privacy and electronic fraud. The development in this particular issue prompted the world towards e-wars, which is discussed in detail in the third chapter of this study.
In the fourth chapter of the study, the researcher studies the internalized relation between the Israeli security theory and the Israeli cyberspace, which is an important issue to Israel to maintain Israel's security and its dominance. It is very important to point out that the Israeli national security theory stems from their Israeli belief that they live in the middle of an environment of arab and islamic nations who fundamentally reject its existence. Additionally, this chapter provides an in-depth study of the components of the Israeli cyberspaces. The fifth chapter includes a comparison between those components with the Arab and Palestinian Cyberspace components in the region.
Finally, in the sixth chapter, he offers examples of electronic warfare that took place between the two parties during the Arab-Israeli conflict. In addition to the most important electronic confrontations.
To conclude, the research provides a number of results as follows, including: electronic warfare Arab and Islamic towards Israel does not constitute a decisive element in this conflict, but the details may make many variations, may be for the benefit of the Arab mainstream.
