Abstract:
This thesis consists of three chapters. In the first one, I talk about requirements of asking for Knowledge (science) and interacting with scholars. I clarify the importance of scholars and the educated in Islam referring to the holy versions from the Holy Quran and the noble Sunnah besides the path of prophets' companions who most of them were famous for asking for science and the great interest of Muslim Caliphs in scholars and science which doesn`t forbid them from doing Islamic battles to spread Islam worldwide. Moreover, I clarify the importance of asking for science in Islam which is divided by scholars into two types: Firstly, the obligatory science which is needed by everyone to do his Islamic duties and distinguish between right and untrue deeds. Secondly, the science that should be done by some rather than all. This science includes different types of knowledge. Ialso clarify the factors that emphasize the importance of interacting with scholars and benefit from them. In the second chapter, I talk about the rights of both ascholars and the educated aiming at the holy verses in Quran and the prophet's noble sayings which assert this. Then, I talk on the legitimacy of teaching manners to the educated by their teachers and the different sayings of scholars in this regard mainly types and conditions of teaching good manners. I find to say that hitting while teaching manners is unacceptable, but I deduce that the educated should pay to their teachers according to what they had agreedon. In the third chapter, I talk about some rules concerning travel for learning. that is; a woman mustn't travel alone to do that but under certain conditions that maintain her safety and dignity. Moreover, I clarify that Parents' agreement must be given to the educated female when travel to get the ordinary science – not religious one – and mutual relationship between males and females is not allowed while getting science. Despite this, some scholars allow this under certain conditions as a necessity in our modern life.
