Abstract:
This study aimed to recognize the degree of application of total quality management (TQM)of educational supervision in basic schools in the West Bank public schools from the perspective of supervisors in these schools, as well as trying to define the effects of the study variables such as gender, educational level, field of study at university, years of experience as a principals, and supervisory authority on this subject from the same perspective.
The study raised this question which determined the research problem: "What is the degree of application of total quality management of educational supervision in the West Bank public schools from the perspective of supervisors in these schools?
To achieve the study objectives, the researcher chose randomly a society of 512 educational supervisors in the West Bank districts both male and female, and chose (373) of them as a representative sample to respond to the questionnaire.
The study utilized a questionnaire that consisted of a (52) items distributed into five domains.
The study questionnaire was validated and tested by a group of experts in the study field. Cronbach test was used to define the questionnaire immutability, which reached (96.5) points. This showed that the study instrument was so suitable for achieving the study goals. The study data was collected and analyzed by (SPSS) program. In the light of the study findings, the following results were noticed:
• The existence of a high degree of application of comprehensive quality standards in educational supervision in public schools in the West Bank from the viewpoint of the supervisors in all areas.
• There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 = α) in the degree of application of comprehensive quality standards with the supervisors in the public schools in the governorates of the West Bank, according to the variable (sex, qualification, years of experience, specialization, school district In light of the results of the study recommended that the researcher had several recommendations including:
Adoption of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, a general strategy for the application of comprehensive quality standards in educational supervision in public schools in the West Bank, and the involvement of the supervisors in the decision-making technical and administrative standards with regard to the application of total quality and serving the educational process.
