Abstract:
This thesis is titled “Working for Non-Muslims in Islamic Fiqh” and it consists of four chapters and a conclusion. The researcher discussed in the first chapter the definition of work, the definition of non-Muslims, the opinion of Islam regarding working for them and the conditions of such work. In the second chapter, the researcher talked about working in the economical fields for non-Muslims including: companies, selling, purchasing, factories, restaurants, Riba-based banks and professions. In the third chapter, the researcher discussed working in the field of politics with non-Muslims including working in the public states, ministries, parliamentary councils, judiciary, as well as work in the field of intelligence and army. Moreover, in the last chapter the researcher discussed working in the religious fields with non-Muslims such as working in temples and cemeteries and explained the morals that the Muslim must show in work. The researcher finally concluded the study by talking about the opinion of Islam toward Salaam greetings with non-Muslims. In the conclusion, the researcher presented the major results and recommendations of the study.
