Women's Participation in Artistic Competitions, Games, Fashion and Beauty Shows

Thank God alone and Prayers and Peace to Prophet Mohammad. This research discusses the subject of Women's participation in artistic competions which is originally allowed but within certain Islamic conditions. In this research, I discussed most types of artistic competions like women's participation in drama. I found out that having men and women performing a role together, or having a man watching a women while she is performing, or having a women performing the role of  a prophet's wife or daughter are not allowed at all. I also found out that the only condition that allows a woman to perform a role is if there is a necessity for her to perform but still she needs to comply with all the Islamic rules. Then I discussed the provisions of having women participate in sport games. I found out that games that contradicts with women's nature like boxing and wrestling are not allowed for her to take part in. Games that comply with Islamic rules like soccer are allowed. I also discussed the provisions of women's participation in fashion shows, I found out that women can participate in fashion shows if they abide with modest Islamic clothes and all the audiance are women who are committed to Islam and also young children who did not reach the age of puberty. Then I discussed the provisions of women's participation in beauty shows. I found out having women using wigs, eye contacts, and nail polishing are allowed if their is a need to use them with the spouse's permission. Using hair extensions or shaving the women's head are forbidden, then I concluded that women's participation in fashion shows is forbidden.
