Abstract: 
The research studies and analyzes a major topic in Arabic text reading, and a way of curriculum criticism of modern, concerned with the study text language in the vision of new cash, a method (text grammar), and apply it - as much as possible – on selected models of Abu Firas al-Hamdani's poems during his captivity, being the texts of with presence in the memory of Arabic literature. The research contained, consisting of three chapters, the two studies: theoretical and practical. The first, it explained the concept of ( text grammar), and demonstrated how its relationship to language and criticism of the hand, and by sentence grammar on the other hand, in order to stand on the concept of a sentence, and the concept of the text, in Arabic Studies (ancient and modern), and in studies of Western as well. The second, dealt with the application of certain phenomena on the text of the models selected poetry from Abu Firas al-Hamdani's poems during his captivity , according to the descriptive analytical inductive approach; to complete the study, and make them more useful. And by applying the theory of information contained in chapters one and two, on models of Abu Firas al-Hamdani's poems during his captivity in chapter three, was reached as a result of findings of the research, which is that it is a coherent poetic text, brought in with it a humanitarian message that: the rejection of captivity and demanding freedom.
