Abstract: 
This study aimed at getting to know the tasks of the governmental schools principals in the fields of using educational techniques at governmental schools in the directorates of the governorates of the north of West Bank. This study aimed to answer the following questions: 1- What the reality of the task of the governmental schools principals in the fields of planning the educational techniques in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 2- What the reality of the tasks of the governmental schools principals in the field of limiting the reality of educational techniques in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 3- What the the reality of the tasks of the governmental schools principals in the field of providing educational techniques in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 4- What the the reality of the tasks of the governmental schools principals in the field of designing educational techniques in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 5- What the the reality of the tasks of the governmental schools principals in the field of employing educational techniques in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 6- What the the reality of the tasks of governmental schools principals in the field of training to use educational techniques in the directorates of the governorates of the north of the West Bank? 7- What the the reality of the tasks of governmental schools principals in the field of keeping educational techniques and their maintenance in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 8- What the the reality of the tasks of governmental schools principals in the field of evaluating the use of educational techniques in the directorates of the north of the West Bank? 9- Do the tasks of governmental schools principals differ in the field of using educational techniques by the difference of the variables of sex, experience, educational qualification and governorate? The study sample has consisted of (157) principals of males and females with an average of (26%) of the schools principals in the directorates of the education in the governorates of the north of the West Bank. The population of the study was (604) principals. The study has used one measuring tool that was a questionnaire which was built by the researcher to be suitable for the aim of study. It was made sure of the study’s truth by showing it to a group of arbitrators which consisted of (8) members and it was made sure of the certainty of tool by using the formula of (Crunbakh Alpha) and the value of the certainty modulus was (0.96). To know the tasks of the governmental schools principals in the fields of using educational techniques at governmental schools in the directorates of the governorates of the north of the West Bank, the importance of each of the items of the study tool was found out and they were arranged in the descending order according to their arithmetic mean. The study has revealed the following results: -the degree of governmental schools principals performance of their tasks in using educational techniques was very large with arithmetic mean of (0.04) and a percentage of (80.8). -there are no differences of statistical significance at the level of denotation (α= 0.05) in the fields of the tasks of governmental schools principals in the directorates of the north of the West Bank and that are attributed to the variables of sex, experience, educational qualification and governorate In the light of the study's results, the researcher recommends that: -A special budget out of the school budget must be defined to be spent for educational techniques. -A specialist (may be one of the teachers) must train to use the educational techniques and equipment so that the damage of equipment won't be an obstacle in the face of using them to achieve the process of teaching. -A center for the learning resources must be constructed in every educational directorate. -All teachers must be involved in identifying their needs of educational techniques before and during the preparation.
