Abstract:
The present study investigates the quality and distributions of health services in Jerusalem governorate which suffer from ill- distribution because of the Israeli policies which makes it difficult for residents to get health centers and hospitals. Therefore, effective Palestinian health strategies and plans must be adapted to face the present situation and to improve the quality of health services. The study suggests breaking the area region to offer high quality services to in habitants.
The study employs certain geographical theories and methods that investigate the type of health services distribution. It all so was modern data collection technologies in planning and local administration of health services and centers. In this regard, the study suggests the establishment of local/regional information systems and introducing national criteria that are able to plan the health services in Palestine. Besides, the study encourages the establishment of local administration unit in each region to collect data and establish data- base for health services to improve the whole health sector.
