All gratitude are due to Allah, Lord of the universe, and may the prayer and peace of Allah be upon His Messenger and His Messenger's kin and all his companions. This study, Provisions Governing the Adornment Woman's Face in the Islamic Fiqh falls into five chapters. Chapter one was devoted to the concept of adornment, its provisions and controls as well as the concept of face and its limits. Chapter two examined beautification of the face with pigments and jewelry. It also examined the concept of tattoo, its provisions and provision of its removal; concept of kohl (eyelid) and its rule, and provision of coating the face with makeup and pigments. The chapter ended with a look at the beautification of the face with jewelry. Chapter three, entitled Beautification of the Face by Hair Removal and Change delved into plucking in terms of concept and provision. It also dealt with hair removal between the eyebrows, their refinement, total removal, and redrawing and lightening them. The chapter also covered rimming or shaving the face, removal of chin and moustache hair, face lightening and beautification of face with foods. Chapter four investigated rulings on some modern means of face beautification: contact lenses, artificial eyelashes, plastic surgery for the face (face lifting for example), beautification by removal of extras from the woman's face. The chapter concluded with a look at installing gold or silver nose or teeth and the ruling on the woman's going to a beauty salon for beautification of her face. The last chapter included the conclusions and the recommendations in light of the study's findings.
