Abstract:
This research represents a Linguistic and Syntatic Study for the The Prophetical Proverbs in Saheeh AL-Bokhari. The Proverbs were discussed according to terms and the meaning. They were divided into two parts. The first was comparative, and the second was the currently used Proverbs, that are used by people. There were 238 Proverbs and 80 comparative Proverbs in Saheeh AL-Bokhari. The study proved that Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) rarely used to say the proverbs said by the previous people. The authers cared much of the currently used proverbs and proverbs found in The Holy Quran. But their care of the Prophetical Proverbs was little. Also the study takes into consideration the differerent currently used linguistic styles in proverbs, such as backward and forward, elemination, increasing, conditioning, emphasising, enquiring , making an oath, and detailed exponentiation. The research is a linguistic and syntatic Study, specialised in prophetical proverbs in Saheeh AL-Bokhari. The results were put at the end of research.
