Abstract:
This study sought to examine leaving or the Sunna leaving. In other words, it researched in the lawful actions or deeds which the Messenger of Allah had left or stopped doing despite the necessity to do them or the lack of a reason to leave them. These deeds, which had neither an order nor prohibition, necessitated that Muslim scholars pass a judgment on them. Some of these scholars observed these forsaken deeds arguing that the Prophet, peace be upon him, had left those deeds as a case against those coming after him to follow him in abandoning them. Other scholars maintained that the Prophet's leaving of these deeds only signified permissibility and added that the one who leaves what has been forsaken couldn't be classified as a violator of the prophetic teachings and traditions.
The researcher proved that gaiting is an action thought it's a giving up of an action. He also discussed the opinions of Sufism school which didn't consider gaiting a justification. Other fiqh scholars supported quitting in a reason and the prophet's deeds, he had quit in tentiomally despite the presence for doing them. This is a justification and a legislation to take. With am respect and appreciation to the Sufism school and it attitude to the quitting of action and it’s doing, Islam remains flexible.
