Abstract: 
Land is the environment where development process took place, the major domain of development process is Land use for policies. This study shed lights on patterns of land use in Annabta area where the socio- economic and political status of the population affect its development in the past and the present as the case in the whole Palastinian Territory. The study includes seven chapters, the first chapter covers the introduction, research rational and objectives, and some related studies. The second chapters presents an jeographic overview about the area of study, while the third chapter summerize the demographic characteristics of Annabta population and the housing conditions, the fourth chapter stated the theoritical background of land use, the fifth chapter covers the land use survey and the sixth chapter presents aplaning methodology for the area of study, the seventh chapter presents the conclusions and recommendations. Land use in Anabta was affected by the political situation and successive ruling authorities passed on the Palestinian Territory. The study Finding showed that general outline must be determind to achieve the necessary needed adujstment on land use in Anabta at both levels of lows and regulations and the level of detailed plans of land use and structural plan.
