Abstract: 
The purpose of this study was to determine The extent of Elementary Stage Teacher’s Use of Punishment Styles in “Alawqaf” Schools in the Province of Jerusalem and their Opinions towards them, as well as to identify the impact of the variables: of Gender, Years of experience, Qualification degree, Specialty, and Age on the degree of use of these styles. The study population consisted of all teachers in the elementary stage of Alawqaf schools Province of Jerusalem, totaling (650) teachers according to the latest Ministry of Education statistics for the academic year 2015/2016. The study sample, representing 30% of the study population had been selected by stratified random method and applied to study (200) teachers. The Researcher used a questionnaire consisting of (50) clause divided into two domains: The first domain examines the Extent of Elementary stage Teacher’s Use of Punishment Styles, and the second examines teachers' Opinion towards punishment. After confirming the tool stability and validate it, it has been distributed to the study sample where (198) valid questionnaire of (200) had been retrieved. The study reached the following results: There is an average degree use of Punishment Styles by the Elementary stage Teacher’s in “Alawqaf” Schools in the Province of Jerusalem accompaneid with positive opinion from there side towards it. Punishment is used from Elementary stage Teacher’s in “Alawqaf” Schools in the Province of Jerusalem in regardless the demographic variables of Gender, Years of experience, Qualification degree, Specialty and age. Although there were differences mean in the degree of Use of Punishment Styles according to the factor of Qualification degree and Specialty, The results showed that the teachers, who had the a diploma degree Qualification, had higher degree of punishment styles use than those who had the bachelor qualification. In addition, the same applies to the variable of Specialty where the results showed that the degree of use of punishment by the teachers of the commerce specialty is more than those teachers with literary specialty. The results also showed that there is no difference between the averages of punishment use by teachers in the elementary basic stage in the Jerusalem governorate and between their Opinions toward it. The main recommendations of the study: the need for continues teacher training at the field of safe and healthy learning methods to behavior modification. And provide them with tools and suitable adaptations that can be used with respect to the subject of behavior modification
