Abstract: 
This study aimed to determine the Effect of Using Process Drama on Improving Speaking Skill and Self-Concept Among Seventh Grade Students in Arabic Language, by answering the following questions: 1. Is there a difference in the statistical indication in the level (a=0.05) in the averages of the answers in order to test the speaking skill to the seventh grade students in the control and experimental groups, which is attributed to the educational method (normal, traditional and process drama)? 2. Is there a difference in the statistical indication in the level (a=0.05) in the averages of the answers in order to scale Self-Concept to the seventh grade students in the control and experimental groups, which is attributed to the educational method (normal, traditional and process drama)? The researcher has used the sime experimental method. And applied this study on a chosen group of seventh grade students in Nablus-city, Al- Hajj 'Mohammad Ali' Qaraman basic boys school was selected to apply the experiment in and to choose two classes (A and B) from the seventh grade, Class (A) was chosen to be a control group to learn in a traditional way with (22) students. Class (B) was chosen to be an experimental group to learn I process drama with (25) students. The tools of the study are represented in: test of speaking skill, teacher`s book lessons which designed according to the process drama style, And the measurement of self-concept in Arabic language, It has been confirmed the validity of tools. (Cronbach's alpha) equation was used to determine the stability of the questionnaire. The value of stability of the questionnaire reaches (0.78) which is a suitable value to the purposes of the study according to the researcher point of view. This study reaches the following results: 1. There is a difference in the statistical indication between the averages of control and experimental groups in test of speaking skill in Arabic language. And this difference due to the experimental group that is learned by using the process drama style. 2. There is a difference in the statistical indication between the averages of control and experimental groups in the scale self-concept in Arabic language. And this difference due to the experimental group that is learned by using the process drama style. This study recommends the following: arrangeing special training courses in process drama for teachers in order to be familiar with new strategies and principles in planning educational lessons due to the process drama, This study also recommends instructors and designers of the educational curricula to work and include dramatic texts inside school textbooks so that teachers have the opportunity to apply process drama in an easy way, The ministry of education recommends to held special workshops in process drama for basic level supervisors and Arabic language and that to provide them with full knowledge and awareness of strategies and principles of planning lessons due to process drama and to assess the teachers according to the strategies and principles away of random assessment.
