Abstract:
The researcher started her study with a preface in which she introduced Imam Al-Bukhari and his book Sahih Al-Bukhari. In the first chapter of the study, the researcher defined the meaning of “proverb or saying” in language and dictionary and the types of proverbs in the Sunnah which include complete, brief and standard. In the same chapter, the researcher explained the importance of these proverbs, their goals, characteristics and their educational implications. In the second chapter, the researcher described the proverbs that talk about Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, and explained how Muslims should follow him. The researcher mentioned five Hadiths that showed Prophet Mohammad’s rank among other prophets, peace be upon them all, how people listened to him, his concern with warning the people from falling into Hell and his calling for Heaven. The third chapter includes a number of Hadiths that talk about the Islamic Nation, its life, the reward for its work, its Jihad, in addition to some of the characteristics of Muslims such as being good when it comes to conversation and affection; the researcher also talked about the condition of Muslims who pay Sadaqah for the poor, and explained how trust has been lost these days. In the fourth chapter, the researcher talked about the value of the five prayers, Al-Thikr and the Holy Quran through analyzing these Hadiths. Each of these Hadiths required five demands in order to explain what is meant by each one. The researcher mentioned the text of the Hadith, its explanation, the type of representation in it, its educational objectives, its characteristics and educational implications. Finally, the researcher included in her study a conclusion in which she presented the most important results and recommendations.
