Abstract: 
This study aimed to recognize the degree of application of total quality management (TQM) in basic schools in Nablus City from the perspective of principals in these schools, as well as trying to define the effects of the study variables such as gender, educational level, field of study at university, years of experience as a principals, and supervisory authority on this subject from the same perspective.The study raised this question which determined the research problem: "What is the degree of application of total quality management in basic schools in Nablus city from the perspective of principals in these schools? To achieve the study objectives, the researcher chose a society of (227) basic school principals both male and female, and chose (132) of them as a representative sample to respond to the questionnaire.The study utilized a questionnaire that consisted of a (104) items distributed into nine domains. The study questionnaire was validated and tested by a group of experts in the study field. Cronbach test was used to define the questionnaire immutability, which reached 97 points. This showed that the study instrument was so suitable for achieving the study goals. The study data was collected and analyzed by (SPSS) program. In the light of the study findings, the following results were noticed: 1- The degree of application of TQM in Basic Schools in Nablus City from the perspective of principals in these schools was medium, it reached 68%. 2-There were no differences that are statistically significant on the level (α=0.05) in the degree of applying TQM in Basic Schools in Nablus City due to the variable of gender. 3- There were no differences that are statistically significant on the level (α=0.05) in the degree of applying TQM in Basic Schools in Nablus City due to the variable of educational level. 4- There were no differences that are statistically significant on the level (α=0.05) in the degree of applying TQM in Basic Schools in Nablus City due to the variable of the field of study at university. 5- There were differences that are statistically significant on the level (α=0.05) in the degree of applying TQM in Basic Schools in Nablus City due to the variable of work experience of less than (5) years, the results lean towards less than (5) years. 6- There were no differences that are statistically significant on the level (α=0.05) in the degree of applying TQM in Basic Schools in Nablus City due to the variable of supervisory authority. In the light of these findings, the researcher suggested the following recommendations: 1- Adopting decentralization in school management. 2- Planning for more realistic curriculum which should be more suitable for students. 3- Procedures should be taken to test local society's opinion about curriculum. 4- Applying more fair standards for employee promotion depending on experience and excellences. 5- Taking more care about English as a foreign language in schools. 6- Taking more care about weak pupils and helping them get better at school.
