Abstract:
Objective interpretations, which are based on examining the Qur’anic Verses objectively in order to shed light on the reality of the Islamic community, is one of the types of interpretations for the Holy Qur’an (hereinafter referred to as HQ). Furthermore, one of the subjects the Qur’an is women, upon which the goodness or corruption of the society depends since Islam is the only creed which recognizes the humanity of women including all their rights in all areas of life. This recognition goes hand in hand with the true nature of women that Islam has given them status and rights no other religion has ever given before. In addition, Islam has taken care of women by keeping their dignity and keeping them away from stabbing looks and dirty language by ordering them to wear Hijab, cover their bodies and not to wear makeup outside their houses. From this point, the researcher has deliberately chosen Surah An-Nisa’ from the HQ since it is all about women taking a great care of them more than any other Surahs in the HQ. This study delved into many sources, namely: Al-Tafaser (HQ interpretation books) in order to make Islam’s attention to women to crystallize their rights and ordinances. This study consisted of an introduction, 3 chapters and a conclusion. To begin with, the introduction explored the topic of the study, its methodology, contents, the reasons of choosing it and the main sources the researcher depended on. The first chapter dealt with a general introduction about the Surah in terms of its names, its order in the HQ, the reasons of its inspiration by God, its advantages, themes and purposes. The second chapter dealt with the main rights of women including: 1. Equality. 2. Freedom of choice. 3. Having a good treatment. 4. Justice. 5. Dowry. 6. Inheritance. Finally, in the third chapter, the researcher explored a group of ordinances about women such as the types of forbidden marriage in Islam, the ordinances of guardianship, the concept of the disobedience of women and how to treat it and polygamy in a simple way.
