Abstract: 

This study examines the need of establishing a data base on the Scientific Diaspora from the west bank. It covers sources of data; data quality; difficulties confronting researchers and planners, and solutions-needs available under the prevailing conditions in the territory.

The aim of this study is to highlight the vary character; quality; reliability and availability of the data required for the study of skilled emigrants originated from the West Bank- especially the proportion with science and technology qualifications. It also aims to highlight the most important factors- difficulties which have affected these data and thus, influenced the efforts of individual researchers. In addition, it aims to find how to establish-develop data base on the West Bank Scientific Diaspora?
