Abstract: 

تتناول هذه الورقة قضاء الأحداث ودور الشرطة –بوصفها مؤسسة رسمية حكومية– في حماية حقوق الطفل، في ثلاثة محاور رئيسية:
المحور الأول: يتناول قضاء الأحداث من جانبين؛ الجانب الأول: أهمية قضاء الأحداث في ظل دولة القانون والمؤسسات.
والجانب الثاني :واقع قضاء الأحداث في فلسطين.
المحور الثاني: ويتناول شرطة الأحداث من جانبين: الجانب الأول: مفهومها وأهميتهان والجانب الثاني: يتناول ظروف النشأة وجرأة القرار في ظل عدم الاستقرار.
المحور الثالث: عمل شرطة الأحداث في ظل قضاء الأحداث.
المحور الأخير: يتناول التجربة الفلسطينية الحديثة في العمل في شرطة الأحداث، يأتي ليوضح معالم هذه التجربة من خلال الواقع العملي ومعطياته ونتائجه، ويقارن بين ما هو موجود الآن وبين ما كان قبل ذلك من حيث الأثر الذي خلفه عمل شرطة الأحداث إلى واقع الطفل الفلسطيني.
