Abstract: 

The research aims to find out the most important traditional plants in the texts of Darwish's poetry, and to clarify its importance to the public communities, and its indicators.

To facilitate the study, the researcher divided the research to: trees, flowers and crops (wheat), and these were supported by examples.

The results of research were as the following :-
-Darwish employed plants as traditional symbols of resistance.
- Plants were tackled in different numbers (percentages) in the texts, and the most were olives, oranges, jasmines and wheat.
- Darwish used the traditional plants which are related to the three religions- and the study showed the religious and popular importance of plants.
