Abstract:
This study investigates one of the highest morals in Islam which is verification through Quranic verses in order to highlight the importance of this great moral. It also addresses the methodology that the Holy Quran adopted in instilling this high moral in the hearts of Muslims. The study discusses the types of verification, its means, its impact on the individual and the society, the practical models of verification in the Holy Quran, the reasons why people do not commit themselves to this high moral as well as the ways through which this problem can be solved (the problem of not committing to verification).
This study was based on the inductive, analytical approach since it focuses on the objective interpretation of the Holy Quran. The research has investigated the Quranic verses that encourages commitment to this high Islamic moral then analyzed them to discover its secrets and implications. The researcher also depended on the applied approach which included the presentation of practical models of verification in the Holy Quran.
The study has come up with a number of results such as: the Holy Quran is full of directions and morals that taught how to deal with others including the moral of verification and emphasized its importance. The Holy Quran has founded a clear methodology on how to deal with news, says, narrations and Fatawa and stressed the importance of verifying these things and identifying their source. It also called for saying what is good or not to speak if this speech could inflect harm on others.
The Holy Quran offers great practical models on these things that we should take as examples to guide us in our life. It also warns us not to interact with those who do not commit themselves to this high moral.
