The Image of Man in the poetry of the Andalusian Woman (Analytical and Critical study)

At last we can say: This research revealed a subject that has never been prominent in Arab studies. The image of a man in Andalusian women’s poetry was rarely studied. Even those who talked about it did not give it enough space, nor a deep study. Now comes this research revealing the image of the man, especially that the Andalusian age had a lot of female poets. In spite of the few that reached us from their poems, but what we had could give us multiple images for men, most notably the image of the man as a moon, as a sign of a perfect man. She tried to put him in a sacred image. The man was also described in other images reflecting his ethical qualities like the sun, a star, the lion etc. Like the image of the perfect man was shown, there was also the image of the insulted man taken from the evil side of humanity. One of the worst images for the man in their poetry was the homosexual man beside other bad images like the betrayer, the miser, the liar etc After this research we havea set of results, including: 1.This study revealed the distinct value and the prestige the Andalusian woman had in the social and family relations as well as in society. She took part in various affairs of life, female scientists, female writers, female boswells of Holy Quran and Holy Hadith were prominent in the Andalusian age. 2.This research shows how much an Andalusian man loved the woman and respected her as a mother, as a wife and as a girlfriend. She could control the heart of the man and make him do what she liked, avoid making her sad and be pleased to satisfy her. 3.This research has revealed the most prominent female poets of every century in the Andalusian age. There were female poets from various social classes as there were princesses, aristocratic female poets, general public female poets and even slave female poets. 4.This research could show the courage of the Andausian woman revealing her wishes and desires. The study also showed the most prominent pillars that supported her in arts and literary creativity. 5.The research shows that the Andalusian female poet wrote about most of the purposes of poetry like laudation, congratulating, nostalgia, flirtation, pride and lamentation. She also did not find any embarrassment or fear writing immoral sensory flirtation poetry or obscene outrageous insulting poetry. 6.The Andalusian female poet could reveal her feelings towards the man with no fear or shyness. She could even write about her sexual desires for the man. 7.The Andalusian female poet portrayed her boyfriend in the best way. She gave him specific characters of the perfect symbol that shines with light and splendour like the sun and the moon that monopolize beauty. The man whose good manners and ethics gave him more beauty and made her see him even better. 8.When the Andalusian female poet insulted, she made a real ugly image for the insulted man. She saw him with no moral virtues, with no body beauty. She exceeded that and insulted him with obscenity and indecency. 9.The Andalusian female poetry is full of art features and rhetorical characteristics. It also has a lot of touching music with simple and kind words.Thus the Andalusian female poet was the man’s partner in the process of the literary creativity and not a follower. At last, we can’t say that this research gathered everything that was said about the Andalusian female poetry. No matter how hard a man can work, The Almighty Allah is the only one who has perfection. My research can’t stop more researches in the future revealing more images for the man in the Andalusian female poetry. This is what I could find but the female poetry in Andalusia is full of images and visions that need more work to be revealed.
