Abstract:
The objectives of this study are to examine the relationship between the athletic achievement motivation and aspiration amongst the female players in the Palestinian universities' teams. It also aims to identify the difference levels of athletic achievement motivation and aspiration amongst the female players in the Palestinian universities' teams, and it is affected by two variables
• The type of the game.
• The university team experience.
For the purpose of the study, tests were conducted on (196 ) randomly selected female players in the Palestinian universities' teams for the academic year 2014-2015, the sample represents (39.88%) of the population.
The researcher used the descriptive method because it fits the nature of the study; and she applied (Allawi 2005) scale to measure the level of the athletic achievement motivation and she also used (Mo'awwad & Abdulatheem 2005) scale to measure the level of aspiration in the preparation of the study tools.
After collecting the data SPSS was used to analyze it. The results have shown a medium level of achievement motivation among the female players represented by (61%), while it’s shown a medium level of aspiration represented by (61.6%)
The study also has shown that there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (α≤0.05) according to the game variables and the experience of the female players.
