Abstract:
The study aims at introducing the effect of a proposed training program of 8 weeks, 3 training weekly units on developing some physical elements (speed, power, fitness, endurance) and skills (ball control, scoring, passing, running with the ball, throw) for soccer juniors at the Soccer clubs at the Islamic Schools. The study sample included 40 players below the age of 12, whom were divided into 2 groups: experimental one and controlling one. The experimental group undertook the proposed training program designed by the researcher. While the controlling group undertook the traditional one. The researcher used the experimental methodology to cope with the nature of the study and in order to achieve the main goal. 5 physical tests and 5 skills tests were made (before and after) SPSS program was also employed and after processing all results the researcher found out that the proposed training program achieved positive results and indicators that affected the development of all study variables and the experimental group outdid the controlling one in all variables of the study. The researcher recommends providing soccer trainers with the results of this study in order to alleviate the physical and skill levels for the soccer players and consider the proposed training program to develop the junior players and then organize similar studies on groups aged less than 15 years.
