Abstract:

The study aimed at identifying the training needs at the alternative evaluation tools and strategies for mathematics teachers in the Directorate of Education in Nablus. It also aimed at identifying the most influential axes study on training needs in the alternative evaluation strategies and tools. and to identify the role of some variables related to mathematics, such as gender, academic qualification,  stage of study, years of experience, place of the school, and receive training on alternative evaluation and its strategies for mathematics teachers. In order to achieve this the researcher used the descriptive approach and a random stratified sample were chosen which consisted of( 171) teachers and a questionnaire of (31)paragraphs , and in order to analyze the data, the researcher used the arithmetic averages, standard deviations, and multiple analysis of variance and statistical wilix Lambda triple and analysis of variance. The results indicated that the training needs in alternative evaluation strategies for mathematics teachers were medium. It turns out that there are statistically significant differences in the training needs in the  alternative evaluation strategies for mathematics teachers due to areas of study, total degree and received training in the alternative evaluation .The results also show that there is no  statistically significant differences in the training needs in  alternative evaluation strategies for mathematics teachers due to the variables of sex, qualification,  the study stage,  years of experience, and the location of the school. The researcher recommended developing a training program for teachers to develop their skills in the alternative evaluation strategies, as well as conducting further studies on teachers from different disciplines and in different regions in order to identify training needs in the modern alternative evaluation domain.
