Abstract: 

This study aims at identifying the nature of the relations between the citizens and the Ottoman armies which took over the lands of Jerusalem countryside. First, the study deals parts of Ottoman armies scattered in Jerusalem district and their duties. Then, the study points out to the methods of organizing the relation among Sibahis themselves from one side and their relation with citizens on another side of their obligation to the duties and responsibilities stated in the Ottoman records. The study also discusses of the life situations in the countryside according to the nature and human conditions, then the study considers the topic of the family and the women in Palestinian countryside.
