Abstract: 

This study sought to build an instructional program and its effectiveness on teaching Cartweel skill. Further, the study investigated the impact of program on the improvement of teaching performance; cognitive sufficiency related to the teaching style among the sample of the study The researcher used the empirical method by using two groups (control and experimental groups). The sample of the study consisted of (28) students of both gender, who were enrolled in Method of Teaching Physical Education course offered by the college of Physical Education at the University of Jordan. Those subjects were chosen and divided randomly. The researcher designed a program pertinent to the style of teaching using micro-teaching strategy. The results of the study revealed that, the program had a substantial impact on the experimental group; differences were found to be in favor of the post test. Also, the intervention program didn’t reveal any significant difference between the male and female particularly in the post-test. The study recommend that training student-teachers on utilizing modern methods and styles of teaching physical education.
