The Effectiveness of a Teaching Program in Developing Self-Regulation Skills for the Primary Stage Students with Learning Disabilities. This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of a teaching program in developing self-regulation skills of students with Learning Disabilities. The sample of the study consisted of (40) 6th grade students with learning disabilities. (20 males &20 females). The students were randomly distributed into two groups:
- The 1st (Experimental) includes 20 L.D students of both males & females.
- The 2nd (Control) consists of 20 L.D.students of both males & females. The Experimental Group got training on a program at 18 session, for 9 weeks, the duration of each session takes 45-50 minutes. But the Control Group didn't have any training. A pretest – posttest control group design was used. Self-regulation scale was used to collect information and compare the student' performance of pretest & posttest for both experimental and control group. The results were analyzed by using (ANCOVA) to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variables. The findings of this study were as follows:
-There were significant differences in self
- regulation skills at (α = 0.05), between research group and control group. According to achieved results, the activation of the educational programs is important inside resources rooms with opening more studies which can apply of the students of this stage.
