Abstract: 

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز مكانة بيت المقدس ومدارسها في فترة عصفت بالمدينة المقدسة بعد خروجها من براثن الاحتلال الصليبي الذي استمر أكثر من قرنين من الزمن، تم خلالها تدمير جميع مناحي الحياة الإنسانية والعلمية في تلك الفترة . تناولت هذه الدراسة مراجعة لكتاب مجير الدين الحنبلي العليمي التي تبين من خلالها الدور العلمي الذي لعبته مدينة بيت المقدس من الناحية العلمية وظهور المدارس ودور القرآن ودور الحديث والخوانق والتكايا والزوايا والربط والمساجد التي ساعدت على حفظ المواد القرائية والعلوم الاسلامية من الاندثار .
