Synthesis and Biological Activity of N-Heteroaromatic-substituted Thiophene- 2-carbohydrazides

New heteroring-substituted thiophene-2-carbohydrazides incorporating pyrrole, thiophene,
and pyridine moieties have been synthesized, characterized, and screened for possible
antimicrobial activity. Some of the synthesized compounds exhibited promising antibacterial
activities, but rather modest antifungal activity.
