Book and space. Pushkin›s monument to life in time to literature classes with international students at an advanced stage of training

One of the main conditions for the effect of teaching Russian as a foreign language is the presence of a rich teaching materials in the classroom. Teachers of literature are always aware of how important it is to have at hand good lyrics that reflect reality, and «saturated» relevant linguistic units. Language material in the classroom which they pick up successfully promotes the cognitive interest of students raising their moral and ethical qualities, and hence the development of thinking, and of intelligence. Foreign students show interest in Russian literature of the 19th century and of Russian creativity such as Pushkin. One of these works is the poem «I erected a monument to myself ...» which, if treated in time and tradition, can be traced to an outstanding tradition of literature and culture.
