Thur-Rummah Baaiyyah between Old and Recent Scholars

This research aims at studying the famous poem of Thur- Rummah in the umayyad period. It also aims at acknowledging the new approaches for the criticism methods, particularly the mythical methods, and understanding the old literaring texts, through contracting the different opinions of old and recent critics. In this poem the researcher discovered the requirements of the critic, old and recent towards the text and its relationship with the poet’s psychological condition based on the different mentioned opinions in this respect.
