Abstract: 

The aim of the study was analyzing the problems faced by producers of broiler in Amman Governorate, through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 149 breeders. The results showed that administrative and financial problems were the most important, followed by productivity and then marketing problems, moreover, the results showed that the source of chicks and the spread of diseases were the most important problems related to productivity. While, the problem of high price of electricity and fuel, and high feed costs were related to administrative and financial problems. The fluctuations in the selling prices of broilers, and chicken imported competition with local products in the domestic market were related to marketing problems. The average degree of influence of the problems for producers was 2.36 degrees and it was located within the average impact problems. The results showed a significant negative correlation between personal characteristics and the importance and the degree of the impact of the problems faced by producers of broiler chickens at the level of significance P <0.05. The study recommends the organization and training workshops held by the Department of Agricultural Extension in the management of poultry farms and draw the attention of producers to follow one regiment system that reduces the spread of disease. And follow the closed barns system in raising chickens.
